    Job description

    Job Purpose

    We are looking for an organized and self-motivated Internal Control Assistant / AVP (title depending on experience) to strengthen risk control and subsidiaries management in the personal banking business. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the regular review comprehensive the policy and procedure library for personal banking business line, supporting department‑wide operational risk analysis and control, monitoring personal loans, helping strengthen IPU governance and monitoring, and contributing to on‑site and off‑site inspections and business research of the entire jurisdiction.

    Main Responsibilities

    Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

    • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of the personal loan business line to ensure efficient delivery and risk control.
    • Carry out post-lending management, including repayment monitoring, annual reviews, and collateral management; ensure proper maintenance of loan files and inventory records.
    • In charge of conducting on-site and off-site inspection to the department and the business line of cross-border branches.
    • In charge of organizing the follow up and verification on the rectification of findings discovered in regulatory inspections. Compliance reviews, internal and external audits in the business line of cross-border branches and the department.
    • In charge of organizing relevant internal training in the business line of cross-border branches and the department.
    • Conduct the internal control of the department, such as specimen verify, internal account reconciliation.
    • Any other job responsibilities assigned by the department.

    Candidate Profile

    Technical Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or Business-related studies.
    • At least 2 years of work experience in Banking, Big Four, accounting firms, or similar financial institutions.
    • Familiar with European and Luxembourg credit regulatory requirements.
    • Good understanding of the general, economic, political, and business environment of the region.
    • Fluency in Chinese and English is essential, while a working knowledge of French or German is considered an advantage.

    • Organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

    Compensation: The remuneration for this position will be determined based on the requirements and responsibilities of the role, as well as the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
