As an HR Officer, you will join our HR team and support employees throughout their journey with the company. You will assist the HR team with a broad range of HR activities, including onboarding, employee relations and day-to-day HR operations. This role requires a proactive, people-focused professional who can build strong relationships and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, inductions and exit interviews
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, letters, reports, and other HR documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and keep HR systems up to date
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related questions
- Handle day-to-day HR administration, including filing, record-keeping and data entry
- Monitor employee absence, annual leave and other HR-related data
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal HR activities
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Work closely with payroll, recruitment, and other internal teams
- Support learning and development activities when required
- Prepare HR reports and provide relevant data to management
- Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and HR best practices
- Handle employee information with a high level of confidentiality
- Participate in HR projects and carry out other related duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in an HR administration or HR support role
- Good knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices
- Experience with onboarding and employee relations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, approachable and solutions-oriented attitude
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience working with an HRIS will be considered an advantage
