Phone Salesperson

As a Phone Sales Person, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, handling inbound sales enquiries, processing orders and providing expert support across our extensive product range.

You'll build strong relationships with customers over the phone, identify sales opportunities and work closely with the branch team to deliver outstanding service and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales enquiries and customer orders via phone and email
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
• Provide product information, pricing and quotations
• Follow up quotations and sales opportunities
• Promote new products, specials and campaigns to customers
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to achieve sales targets
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity notes
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction

• Experience in phone sales, internal sales, customer service or account management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude
• Good computer and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A desire to learn and develop product knowledge

Highly Regarded

• Experience in automotive parts, auto electrical, heavy vehicle, mining or transport industries
• Automotive aftermarket or trade sales experience
• Knowledge of automotive, electrical or heavy-duty vehicle products
• Experience using parts catalogues or inventory systems
