Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant for our Seven Pines office located in Jacksonville, Fl. This opening is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities

• Provides nursing assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Telephone triage
• Patient education
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
