Responsible for monitoring and conducting quality checks to ensure quality product is packed and customers are happy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You closely monitor the line and stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and clear machine jams.
- You replenish the supplies necessary to keep the line running in a timely manner to prevent downtime —this includes stocking conveyors or hoppers with containers, lids boxes or labels.
- You make adjustments to equipment during production to optimize efficiency.
- You perform various cleaning tasks as assigned.
- You maintain quality records accurately and conduct quality inspections consistently.
- You work in all areas of the plant, to get the job done.
TOOLKIT/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- You have high attention to detail and are able to catch the slightest errors or non-conformities.
- You have effective listening and troubleshooting skills.
- You can work quickly and efficiently while maintaining neatness, thoroughness, accuracy and focus.
- You are physically able to grab, lift and move product and equipment.
