Overview

New Porgera Limited (NPL) invites applications from highly motivated and academically high-achieving students for its annual Industrial Training Program. This program offers selected candidates a 12-week practical workplace internship, providing hands-on operational exposure and direct mentorship from experienced industry professionals.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements:

• Academic Performance: Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
• Academic Level: Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate study at a recognized PNG tertiary institution.
• Eligible Disciplines:
  • Engineering (Instrumentation, Mining, Mineral Processing, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)
  • Geosciences (Geology, Lands & Surveying)
  • Social & Environmental Sciences (Environment, OHS, Communication for Community Development)
  • Business & Corporate Services (Human Resources, Finance)
