Position Summary
BaRupOn is seeking a detail-oriented and field-capable Civil Engineer to support the design, permitting, and construction of critical infrastructure projects in Liberty, TX and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of site development, structural foundations, drainage, and utility coordination with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and constructability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review civil design plans including grading, site layout, stormwater management, and utility coordination
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, and geotechnical coordination as needed
- Provide engineering support throughout construction, including RFIs, submittals, and field changes
- Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications
- Ensure civil designs meet local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., TCEQ, TxDOT, county codes)
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams on integrated energy systems
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and local permitting agencies
- Maintain project records, drawings, and technical documentation
- Support project scheduling, cost control, and materials planning Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 10+ years of experience in civil/site design, preferably in utility or energy infrastructure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of hydrology, stormwater, foundations, and roadwork
- Familiarity with Texas engineering and permitting processes
- EIT certification required; PE license in Texas preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in the field and travel locally to job sites as needed Preferred Experience

- Construction support or field engineering background
