Clerk Analyst

This day shift position works Monday through Friday.

The Health Information Management Clerk Analyst performs tasks, including but not limited to retrieving and analyzing daily discharges in order to process the chart for completion, answer phone, assist providers, and other departments in completion of incomplete medical records.   Performs quality improvement projects and follow departmental and hospital policies. 

Experience and Education:

Minimum: 

• Basic working knowledge of computer systems, have proficient English/grammar skills, excellent people and typing skills. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful, but not required.     
• Previous work experience in hospital setting or medical office desirable, but not required            

Preferred: 

• High School graduate or equivalent.
