</div><div><p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Materials Science and Engineering or Chemical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027</strong>.

This position is 100% onsite located in <strong>Columbus, Ohio. </strong>The selected candidate will work with our Advanced Materials group specializing in synthesis, formulation and processing, testing and evaluation of polymeric, ceramic and metallic materials. <strong>Application deadline: October 23rd, 2026</strong></p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Responsibilities</b></H2>
</div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Literature review</li><li>Formulation of materials such as adhesives, sealants, and coatings</li><li>Physical and chemical property testing of materials</li><li>Testing and evaluation of materials such as rubbers, plastics, and metals</li><li>Will safely work in a collaborative fast-paced, team environment</li><li>Keep accurate records of lab experiments</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Key Qualifications</b></H2>
</div><div><ul type="disc"><li>At least a sophomore who is currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree or graduate degree program in a science-based discipline, such as chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science and engineering</li><li>Knowledge of lab procedures and capable of keeping accurate lab records</li><li>Knowledge of testing and characterization equipment</li><li>Ability to prepare and deliver written reports and presentations</li><li>Must be a sole US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance</li></ul><p> </p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></H2>

</div><div><p>The salary range for this role is $20.00 – $40.00 per hour, in addition to a $2,000 housing stipend for students relocating more than 50 miles from home and university.
