BAYADA HOME HEALTH CARE is seeking a full-time Director for our List office in Hauppauge, NY . This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial home care leader who understands the private pay model, builds strong community relationships, and is energized by growing a business while supporting clients, families, and employees.

Are you looking for an extraordinary growth and leadership opportunity with a top company in a fast-growing industry? Would you like that growth and success to be part of making a real difference in people’s lives?

We’re BAYADA HOME HEALTH CARE—a leading home care company—and we believe that our clients and their families deserve care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. In this dynamic environment, you will apply your leadership, operational, marketing, and relationship-building skills while leading a caring, professional team that helps clients live safely and independently at home.

Currently supporting approximately three office staff members and a client census of 45, this Director will play a hands-on role in strengthening the office, developing referral relationships, supporting employees, and driving sustainable business growth.

    Why you’ll love this opportunity

    • Make a meaningful impact for clients and families.

    • Lead and develop a local office team in a highly visible role.

    • Build relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community partners, and other referral sources.

    • Bring your ideas to an office where process improvement, initiative, and entrepreneurial thinking are valued.

    • Enjoy the stability and structure of a national organization with the values and culture of a family-owned business.

    • Participate in a comprehensive benefits plan that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; employer-paid life insurance; 401(k) with company match; direct deposit; and an employee assistance program.

    Responsibilities for a Director

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead, coach, and support office staff while fostering a collaborative, accountable team environment.

    • Oversee day-to-day office operations and help ensure an excellent experience for clients, families, referral partners, and employees.

    • Develop and maintain referral-source relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and other community partners.

    • Create and execute local marketing and business-development strategies to grow the office’s private pay business.

    • Identify opportunities to strengthen referral volume, client census, service quality, and overall office performance.

    • Manage human resources responsibilities, including employee support, performance management, and team development.

    • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires and help employees succeed in their roles.

    • Complete reporting and use business information to guide priorities and decision-making.

    • Implement new processes and improve workflows as the needs of the office evolve.

    • Partner with senior leadership to support office goals and long-term growth.

    • Represent BAYADA in the community with professionalism, energy, and a commitment to relationship-based service.

    Qualifications for a Director

    Required:

    • Home care experience, with a strong understanding of the private pay home care model.

    • Demonstrated experience growing a business, developing referral relationships, or driving new opportunities.

    • Experience managing and supporting office staff.

    • Strong networking, marketing, communication, and partnership-building skills.

    • A self-starter mentality and the ability to work independently without dedicated marketing support.

    • Strong organization, follow-through, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

    • Resilience, flexibility, and the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced office environment.

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor’s degree.

    • Experience implementing new processes or improving office workflows.

    • Experience in private pay home care, personal care, senior services, or a related service-based industry.

    Schedule and work environment

    • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

    • Fully in-person- this is not a hybrid or remote role.

    • Flexibility is expected as business needs require.

    • Field-based marketing and relationship-building are an important part of the role and may range from occasional outreach to three or more days per week, depending on the strength of the existing referral pipeline.
