Most Habilitation technicians begin with part-time hours based on client needs and staff availability, with opportunities for growth based on performance, client availability, and scheduling needs.

Seeking recent graduates, Paraprofessionals, Direct Support Professionals, Habilitation Technicians, Personal Care Aides, Nurse’s Aides, Caregivers, those caring for a family member, and those interested in working with individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs).
BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking a Personal Support Assistant /DSP to work as a Caregiver for individuals with Autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities. Compassionate caregivers embody both empathy and respect in every interaction, striving to uplift and empower the people they support. Our caregivers provide 1:1 support in the home and in the community.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments.
Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.
Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our clinical managers.
Provide personal care assistance as needed

Qualifications:
One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or Developmental disabilities
Ability to transport clients to community activities
High school diploma or equivalent
Be at least 18 years of age
