Make a meaningful difference in the lives of others

BAYADA is seeking an organized, proactive, and compassionate Service Supervisor to support the delivery of exceptional in-home care throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. This role combines field leadership, client service, employee support, and strong operational coordination to help ensure that clients receive reliable, high-quality care in the comfort of their homes.

The Service Supervisor will oversee client visits, support and train Home Health Aides (HHAs), communicate closely with Case Managers, and help the office respond effectively to the needs of clients and employees. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful problem-solver who can see the bigger picture while staying attentive to the details that make a meaningful difference every day.

    What you will do

    • Oversee client visits in the home and help ensure services are delivered safely, reliably, and in accordance with client needs.
    • Conduct frequent field visits throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, with approximately 60–70% travel to clients’ homes.
    • Provide HHA training, coaching, and support to promote strong service quality and caregiver confidence.
    • Communicate directly with Case Managers regarding client needs, changes in condition, service concerns, and follow-up actions.
    • Build collaborative relationships with clients, families, HHAs, Case Managers, and the broader office team.
    • Identify concerns early, apply critical-thinking skills, and take proactive steps to resolve issues.
    • Help coordinate coverage, follow through on service needs, and maintain efficient workflows.
    • Balance multiple priorities while maintaining accurate documentation and close attention to detail.
    • Work autonomously in the field while remaining connected and accountable to the full team.
    • Participate in on-call responsibilities and provide support when urgent client or employee needs arise.
    • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and service-focused office culture.

    What you bring

    Required strengths

    • Critical-thinking and sound decision-making skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • The ability to understand the broader situation while managing important details.
    • Strong organization, efficiency, and follow-through.
    • The ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and remain proactive.
    • A collaborative approach and the ability to work successfully with the entire team.
    • Comfort managing competing priorities in a fast-paced home care environment.
    • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and visit clients in their homes.
    • Availability to participate in on-call responsibilities and flex hours when after-hours visits are needed.

    Preferred background

    • Education or training relevant to healthcare, human services, business operations, or a related field.
    • Experience working in an office or service-oriented operational environment.
    • Experience in home care, home health, caregiving, or a related field.
    • Experience supporting, training, or coordinating employees in a field-based setting.
    • Familiarity with client service, care coordination, or community-based services.

The qualities that make someone successful in this role

You are a team player with an upbeat, professional presence. You are organized, comfortable multitasking, and attentive to detail. You communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and approach challenges with curiosity and practical judgment. You can work independently in the field while knowing when to collaborate, escalate, and bring others into the solution.

    Scope of the role

Success in this role means building trust with clients and caregivers, strengthening communication across the care team, responding proactively to service needs, and helping the office deliver consistent, compassionate support.

    Training and support

A structured 30-day training and ramp-up period will help you learn the office’s processes, service expectations, client needs, and team workflows. You will work closely with office leadership and key partners as you build confidence in the field and become an effective resource for clients and employees.

    Why join BAYADA
