About the Role

We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our awesome Finance team. Reporting to our Accounting Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial statements and financial reporting for the Baygold Group. You'll work across multiple entities, partner with a range of stakeholders, and have the opportunity to continue building your technical accounting skills while making a genuine impact.

We're after someone who enjoys taking ownership, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. If you're proactive, solutions-focused, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Bring

• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• CAANZ membership, or progress towards professional accreditation, would be highly regarded.
• Experience in a Financial Accountant or similar position.
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting skills.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• The ability to juggle priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence using financial systems.
• Experience with Xero would be an advantage.
• A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
• Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or a multi-entity environment is helpful, but not essential.
