Intermediate Engineer, Process Control

BBA’s seeking an intermediate process control engineer to join our new Thunder Bay office or existing Sudbury office to support our continued growth in Central Canada. You’ll play a key role in all phases of engineering projects, from front-end studies to field implementation, with a focus on detailed engineering.

As a member of the Automation, Instrumentation and Control System engineering team in Central Canada, you’ll be responsible for technical quality, project scope execution and regional collaboration with other technical experts.

• Develop engineering work packages for major process control systems in mining and energy projects
  
• Execute instrumentation, automation and control scopes while supporting budgets, schedules and project delivery
  
• Lead development of engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, specifications, schematic drawings, network systems and panel designs
  
• Design, integrate, program and commission PLC, HMI, DCS and industrial communication systems
  
• Build strong client relationships and provide technical direction and mentorship to junior team members
  
• Contribute to BBA initiatives and foster a positive culture in the Thunder Bay office while delivering high-quality work
