Senior Engineer, Process Control

BBA is seeking a senior process control engineer to join our new Thunder Bay office or existing Sudbury office to support our continued growth in Central Canada. You’ll play a lead role in all phases of engineering projects, from front-end studies to field implementation, with a focus on detailed engineering.

As a senior member of the Automation, Instrumentation and Control System engineering team in Central Canada, you’ll be responsible for ensuring technical quality, identifying new business opportunities and fostering team development.

• Lead process control engineering and quality for major mining and energy projects
  
• Manage instrumentation, automation and control scopes, including budgets, schedules and project delivery
  
• Lead engineering teams in the design, integration, programming and commissioning of PLC, HMI, DCS and communication systems
  
• Build strong client relationships and support business development, proposals and account growth
  
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers while ensuring development of high-quality engineering work packages
  
• Contribute to BBA initiatives and foster a positive, collaborative culture in the Thunder Bay office
