What will you be doing?

As a Junior Manager at BDO, you’ll combine expertise and experience to take the next step in your leadership journey.

As part of our accountancy department, your days will be filled with a wide variety of impactful activities:

• Mentor & support your junior colleagues: you’ll guide talented young accounting professionals with your expertise and foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous growth and learning.
• Build strong personal client relationships: actively meet with clients and provide them with tailor-made, personal advice that takes their businesses to the next level.
• Deliver value beyond the numbers: through year-end closings, VAT optimisation, financial reporting, and more, you turn compliance requirements into strategic insights that drive client decisions
• Continuous learning: stay ahead of industry trends through ongoing professional development opportunities offered by BDO Academy.

Here are some things we’re looking for in a Junior Manager Accountancy:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics
• 6-7 years of proven accounting experience with client management skills
• ITAA certification is a plus (we’ll support your journey)
• Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent communication skills; French is a plus
• Proactive, pragmatic team player with leadership potential
• Autonomous yet collaborative approach, managing complex projects while supporting colleagues
