BDO Ireland is seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our successful and expanding Restructuring team within our Advisory department as part of our growth plans for the next five years.

- Full responsibility for restructuring assignments to include planning and executing strategies for liquidations, receiverships and examinership assignments
- Advising clients on restructuring, corporate recovery, insolvency and general business issues and resolving problems as they arise
- Liaising with legal advisors, property advisors, project managers, architects and other professionals and business providers
- Working with clients to ensure delivery of strategies
- Preparation of reports for clients
- Ensuring projects and cases are completed within appropriate timeframe and budget
- Coaching and mentoring trainees within team
- Other ad hoc department issues when required.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or other relevant qualification
- Have good technical knowledge
- Previous Corporate Recovery or Restructuring experience is preferable but not essential
- Have experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients
- IT skills; must have a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Driven with the ability to use own initiative
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness.
