    Job description

    The Role:

From the moment they walk through the stained-glass front door, parents and children know they’ve arrived somewhere special when visiting us. Bear Park Epsom, affectionately known by teachers and families as ‘Patey Street’, is housed in a grand homestead standing proud on a lovely hill, surrounded by more than 2000 square metres of land. Our environment is welcoming, spacious and enchanted; a haven for children and teachers alike.
We are looking for a qualified and registered teacher to join our fabulous preschool team to cover the parental leave of a permanent teacher from September 2026 - March 2027.

    Our Environment:
At Bear Park we work hard to ensure our centre, and room teams, are diverse, collaborative and communicative. Out incredible ratios and open-ended environments allow teachers time to partake in small group work driving rich engagement with children. We welcome feedback and conversation, which flows freely during our weekly 3 hours planning meetings. These are held during work hours to allow your personal time to remain your own. At Bear Park, we build great teams, so come and join us and let us grow together.

You will have a passion for the Reggio Emilia philosophy and supporting engaging provocations with our natural resources.
Our team is helpful and supportive, and our children always come first.
