The Role:
We’re looking for a Teacher in Training or experienced unqualified teacher to join our wonderful Bear Park Remuera preschool team working with our 3.5-5 year old children. With amazing 1:6 teacher-to-child ratios, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your ECE teaching career in a nurturing, inspiring environment, surrounded by an experienced and supportive team.
Our preschool programme is designed to inspire curiosity, independence and a love of learning as children take their steps towards school. Our resource rich environment, beautiful natural spaces and thoughtfully curated provocations, provides the perfect setting for children to investigate, create and build confidence alongside their peers.
Our outstanding ratios give teachers the time to slow down, connect and engage in meaningful interactions with each child. You’ll also have three hours of dedicated group planning time every week, giving you the opportunity to reflect, collaborate and intentionally plan for children's learning. Inspired by Reggio Emilia, our teachers are passionate about nurturing wonder, creativity, imagination and investigation. We value children's ideas, theories and perspectives, and work alongside them as they explore and make sense of their world.
As our new preschool teacher you will be creative and collaborative with a growth mindset. You will bring fun, energy and joy to the classroom whilst being responsive, thoughtful and kind in all of your interactions with our children.
