About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Software Developer to contribute to the development of enterprise-grade applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in .NET Core/.NET 8+ and C#, exposure to Azure cloud services, and a strong desire to grow. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, learning while contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
We’ll trust you to:
- Develop, test, and maintain features and modules for applications using .NET Core/.NET 8+ and C#
- Follow the team's established design patterns, architectural guidelines, and Microsoft framework best practices
- Adhere to coding standards, participate in code reviews, and incorporate feedback from senior engineers
- Work with Product Management, senior developers, and QA to understand requirements and implement them as technical solutions
- Build and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, and contribute to microservices-based components under guidance
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures, and support data modelling and basic indexing tasks
- Debug and resolve defects, and flag performance bottlenecks and technical debt to the team for resolution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide estimates for assigned tasks, and deliver on sprint commitments
- Keep learning .NET and Microsoft ecosystem advancements and apply new skills to day-to-day work
You’ll need to have:
- 1-3 years of professional software development experience on the Microsoft technology stack (strong internships or project work will be considered)
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+ and C#
- Working knowledge of WPF, ASP.NET Core Web API, MVC patterns, middleware, and dependency injection
- Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core, including migrations and database-first/code-first approaches
- Good SQL Server skills, including writing queries and joins and creating stored procedures, with a basic understanding of indexing and query performance
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming (async/await), and core .NET fundamentals
- Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Google maps API and Mapbox API knowledge would be an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
