- Own the Numbers: Maintain accurate, detailed job cost information that gives project teams a clear picture of financial performance and profitability.
- Manage Project Financials: Maintain contracts, change orders, subcontractor billing, back charges, and other project cost information throughout the life of the job.
- Keep Billing Moving: Support mid-month and month-end client billing across T&M, GMP, lump sum, and standard invoicing.
- Analyze & Reconcile: Review job cost reports, perform monthly reconciliations, and identify discrepancies that need attention.
- Partner with Project Teams: Work closely with Project Managers and your assigned market team to resolve accounting questions and provide the financial information they need to make informed decisions.
- Solve the Details: Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors and project teams while keeping records complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Protect Accuracy: Follow established accounting policies and procedures to ensure financial reporting and analysis are timely and reliable.
- Support the Big Picture: Provide documentation for audits and help ensure project financial records are organized and ready when needed.
- Improve the Process: Look for opportunities to make accounting processes more efficient, accurate, and effective for the teams you support.
- Deliver Great Service: Be a responsive, collaborative financial partner who helps your market team and our clients succeed.

- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
- Accounting Experience: 4+ years of accounting experience or equivalent office-related experience.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong cost analysis, accounting, and problem-solving skills with a natural ability to dig into the details and identify discrepancies.
- Accuracy & Organization: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Sage Construction and Procore is a plus.
- Clear Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and work through questions effectively.
- Collaborative Approach: Comfortable working across departments and partnering with project teams to support accurate financial information and successful project outcomes.
