Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate fabricating equipment safely
- Fabricate commercial sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications
- Determine scope of work, materials needed based off blueprints
- Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, and practices
- Assist coworkers as needed Qualifications:
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 40 - 75lbs
- Knowledge of metal fabrication machinery and tools
- Ability to read prints and construction drawings
- Should be mechanically inclined and able to work independently
- Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Dependable and able to be at work on time
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- Valid Driver's License
- Forklift license preferred but not required
- Roofing knowledge preferred but not required Position Information:
