Support development of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and inventory forecasts for assigned categories
Own day-to-day planning responsibilities for assigned categories
Maintain category-level OTB and reconcile planned versus actual sales, receipts, inventory, and margin
Analyze historical sales trends and current business performance to identify risks and opportunities
Perform SKU-level analysis and make strategic recommendation for products requiring additional investment, replenishment, markdowns, or exit strategies for assigned categories
Partner with Buying on seasonal assortment plans, purchase recommendations, and support category decisions
Support inventory planning for product launches, marketing campaigns, promotions, and peak periods.
Analyze forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning assumptions.
Develop dashboards and tools that make business performance easier to understand and act upon.
Present key insights and recommendations during weekly/monthly business reviews.
2–3 years in merchandise planning, retail analytics, ecommerce, or a similar analytical function
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills — comfortable with pivots, lookups, formulas, data manipulation, and building models
Strong understanding of retail math and metrics such as sales, margin, sell-through, weeks of supply, inventory turn, and OTB
Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Comfortable building forecasting models and analyzing multiple scenarios
Excellent communication skills — able to explain the "why" behind the numbers
Self-starter who enjoys working in a high-growth environment
Genuine interest in product, customers, and the DTC/ecommerce environment
Adapt quickly to new tools and systems, including custom-built platforms, to support effective planning, analysis, and decision-making
