Best Home Furnishings is currently seeking a qualified individual interested in a Sewing Prep Organizer position.
Job Title: Sewing Prep Organizer
Reports to: Sewing Supervisor
Our organizers work in a fast pace work environment.
Job Requirements:
Move carts into lines as necessary following load sheet.
Push empties back to elevator.
Ensure denim is on bundles.
Keep supply area adequately supplied and clean of trash and empty boxes.
Order recuts and distribute recuts, repairs, and service orders.
Inform supervisor of problems in work flow order.
Distribute information to employees as necessary.
Maintain denim supply of common denim.
Turn scanners on at the beginning of shift and off at the end of the shift.
Have working knowledge of other organizers.
Look for missing pieces.
- Use radio to communicate with other organizers/cart loaders.
- Assist in inventory- count denim.
Help other organizers.
