- Support the testing of product features throughout the different phases of the development cycle.
- Work with engineers, team leads, managers to help deliver innovative testing solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules.
- Help develop and execute testing strategies, test automation and test engineering technologies.
- Set up and manage test environments, including continuous integration jobs for your applications under test.
- Proactively recommend coding solutions and solve problems.
- Work as part of an agile scrum team delivering high quality software and solutions.
- Test and automate in parallel with development activities.
- Review both application and test code for peers in both development and quality engineering
- Develop test APIs, utilities, and contribute to existing frameworks.
- BA/BS Degree + 6 years experience
- Experience as Java Developer or Java Programmer or Java Production Support etc.
- History of successful team work and production deployments in high volume web environments
- Experience with Agile and/or RUP methodologies.
- Strong communications skills.
- Ability and desire to thrive in a proactive, high-pressure, client-services, environment.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years total experience as an engineer in a web environment
- Testing experience good to have
- Knowledge with Selenium, Junit, TestNG etc.
