Performs medical record analysis and all tasks associated with scanning of medical records. Daily pick-up of patient charts East/West Campus.
Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Analyzes the medical record for completeness and records the status of incomplete records in the computer.
- Prepares medical documents for scanning into the electronic document management system.
- Calibrates the scanner for proper image quality, order, and appropriate rotation.
- Verifies all form types were scanned to the appropriate tab in the document viewer.
- Monitors the scanning process for miss-feeds, addressing problems in a timely manner and minimizing interruptions in productivity.

- Written Communications: Ability to read, and write in English in order to understand basic safety instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively with patients, families, and other medical center staff; and respond to basic questions.
- Oral Communications: Ability to understand spoken English in order to follow basic safety instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively in basic English with patients, families, and medical center staff in response to routine questions.
- Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures with the ability to use them in routine situations. Specialized knowledge is not required.
- Team Work: Ability to interact respectfully with other employees, professional staff, and/or external contacts to offer ideas, identify issues, obtain information or deliver services.
- Customer Service: Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Basic familiarity with computers.
- Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $24.23
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
