    Job description

Big Happy is looking for an Account Manager to build and grow relationships with some of our most important brand and agency partners. Reporting to a Senior Account Manager, this role sits at the center of our client experience and ensures campaigns launch smoothly, perform strongly, and ultimately turn into long-term partnerships.
As the primary post-sale lead for your accounts, you will guide campaigns from kickoff through reporting while partnering closely with internal teams to drive revenue and repeat business. You will combine strong client instincts, attention to detail, and a solutions-first mindset to help clients get the most from Big Happy's platform. A white-glove approach to service, paired with close coordination across teams, is central to succeeding in this role.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys building meaningful relationships, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful work that drives client success.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for brand and agency clients across all post-sale activities, including:
      • Leading campaign kick-off calls with media and creative agencies to ensure creative production aligns with campaign objectives, brainstorming custom creative (Sunrises, AR, 3D, Games, etc.), reviewing production timelines, and serving as a subject matter expert on all things Big Happy
      • Gathering campaign launch materials — assets, brand guidelines, campaign messaging, third-party tracking, site lists, block lists, etc. — and confirming accuracy for timely launch
      • Leading creative production with the creative team and serving as liaison between the client and internal teams to bring a client's creative vision to life while aligning with Big Happy best practices
      • Monitoring campaign performance and providing clients with weekly reporting, with an eye toward optimizing and showing improvement week over week against client KPIs
      • Ensuring all campaign elements are accurately tracking and flagging discrepancies with PAS, Ops, and Tech teams
      • Building and presenting end-of-campaign reports with a focus on actionable learnings and recommendations that drive client renewals or incremental growth
    • Partner closely with Sales, Strategy, Creative, Tech, and Ops to keep client deliverables, campaign launches, and execution on track
    • 2-4 years of experience in digital advertising, ideally within an agency, publisher, or ad tech environment
    • Strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem and how brands, agencies, and publishers collaborate
    • Experience managing campaigns across the full lifecycle, from kickoff to reporting
    • Comfort working with third-party measurement and verification partners such as IAS, DoubleVerify, DCM, Lucid, or Nielsen, — and ability to lead troubleshooting with third-party vendors
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and the broader Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to translate campaign data into clear insights and compelling client narratives
    • Familiarity with programmatic and managed service media environments; experience with platforms like DV360, Xandr, or The Trade Desk is a plus
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent presentation skills, including public speaking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity during client conversations
    • Confidence engaging with senior leadership
    • A genuine commitment to white-glove client service — proactive, resourceful, and always looking to go the extra mile
    • A team-first mindset; this role depends on working closely and effectively across departments on a daily basis
    • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with a genuine interest in refining processes to drive efficiency as the company grows
    • Ability to work in a friendly and respectful manner at all times with Big Happy employees, partners, and clients
    • Full-time position with a competitive base salary
    • Access to benefits, including Healthcare, Dental, and Vision
    • FSA/HSA matching program
    • Unlimited PTO — take what you need
    • Big Happy-provided laptop
    • Participation in Big Happy's stock program
    • Paid Parental Leave
    • Half Day Fridays (excluding Q4)
    • Team Happy camaraderie — celebrating wins, learning from challenges, and fostering continuous career growth
    • A workplace culture where you can be yourself, contribute meaningfully, and be valued for your impact

    Location:
    Chicago | Hybrid | 3x/week in office

    Total Compensation:
    $80,500 - $97,750 includes base pay + bonuses.
