Team Member Sporting Goods - Roswell, NM

Almost Anything, Big R’s Got It!, and we want YOU to join the Big R Team. We have a relaxed work environment and want individuals with a strong work ethic and a drive to make a difference. These individuals will be responsible for working in multiple retail departments as needed, including, but not limited to: greeting customers and providing outstanding customer service, stocking/organizing shelves, operating computers, and processing sales transactions. Must be able to work weekends with a rotating schedule.

· Must be at least 21 yrs of age, and a Background Check is required.

· Always provide Friendly & Helpful Customer Service. Possess a Positive Attitude and Professionalism.

· Greet and assist all customers in the store.

· All Associates are expected to conform to the Scheduled work hours and shifts set by Store Management. Must be capable of working on their feet for long periods of time, and capable of standing, walking, bending and/or kneeling, consistently throughout the workday.

· All associates should be capable of pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance consistently and sometimes 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Additional Responsibilities (not all inclusive):

· General cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the store

· Assist Customers and co-workers, when available, throughout the workday. Including inventory stocking and control, department upkeep based on Company directions.

· Answer phones, 2-way radio calls, make announcements over PA system, with clear, pleasant, and professional methods of communication.

· Computer & Point of Sale system knowledge -- including transaction processing, product lookup, inventory verification and availability.

· General knowledge of Department products is desired - including ATF/FFL, firearms, ammunition, sporting licenses, outdoor recreation.
