We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
· Prepare, track, and process submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders
· Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability
· Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
· Support procurement efforts, including issuing purchase orders and tracking material logs
· Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and photo logs
· Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimating for change orders and project modifications
· Support the Project Manager in managing project budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting
· Help enforce job site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
· Coordinate quality control/quality assurance (QC/QA) processes and inspections
· Assist in closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built drawings, and O&M manual compilation
· Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, architects, and engineers to resolve issues promptly
