The Role: The Deliveries Manager oversees the daily operations of the delivery team, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe distribution of durable medical equipment (DME) to patients, healthcare facilities, and other clients.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing delivery or logistics teams.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; DOT card or ability to obtain.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist with DME equipment as needed (up to 50lbs)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and lead a team of delivery technicians and delivery coordinators.
- Plan, schedule, and optimize delivery routes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely service.
- Ensure all deliveries, and pickups meet company standards for safety, accuracy, and patient care.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff on proper equipment handling, customer service, and compliance.
- Handle escalated customer issues or complaints professionally and ensure resolution.
- Track key performance metrics, including delivery times, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction, and implement improvements as needed.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and local/state/federal regulations regarding medical equipment delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams, to coordinate seamless operations.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and safety protocols for the delivery department.
