INBOUND RECEIVING COORDINATOR

The Inbound Receiving Coordinator is an essential role for the Operations Department and is responsible for scheduling, confirming and maintaining delivery appointments amongst other tasks. The Inbound Receiving Coordinator will report to Operations Management.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule, confirm and maintain delivery appointments via email and DockVue.
- Check in carrier and vendor delivery drivers for scheduled appointments.
- Confirm and collect payments from carrier and vendor drivers that use inhouse unloading services.
- Communicate with the Purchasing Department regarding change in appointments.
- Create inbound PO’s and identify item numbers.
- Create, confirm and/or edit PO’s based on volume received or discrepancies found.
- Communicate with Warehouse for inventory updates.
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1 year of related experience is highly preferred.
- Computer savvy - familiarity with G Suite, DockVue, Roadsync, AS400 and Slack is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.
- Highly organized with outstanding time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Operations, Purchasing and Accounting departments.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
- There may be significant walking.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone keyboard, and talk or hear.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, squat, turn/twist body, push and/or pull, stand, kneel and walk.
Work Conditions:
- This is a customer facing role - ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, navigate tense situations and communicate professionally with persons of all backgrounds.
- Will work in close proximity to other Operations personnel.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The temperature of the work environment may be cold.
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (30 minute unpaid lunch)
*Overtime may be required, work hours subject to change based on operational needs*
Position: Full time, Non-Exempt
Location: In Person - in Brisbane, CA
Salary Range: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour DOE
