Our Bishop Gadsden at Home Department is seeking CNA team members to provide in home support to clients that promotes independence and mobility with an emphasis on emotional, psychological and social well-being.
The successful candidate will have compassion for and the desire to work with the elderly. A Typical Day : Provide personal care for clients, including bathing, showering, shampooing, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing, and shaving as needed. Assist clients with nutritional needs including serving, feeding, and providing proper fluid requirements. Assist with proper restorative care including range-of motion exercises, proper positioning, and ambulation.
Encourage client independence and optimal level of functioning. Exercise standard precautions of infection control in all client care. Exchange client information with supervisor via communications binder. Launder clients’ personal items as needed. Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and courteous demeanor.
