    Job description

    Culinary Service Manager-HealthcareFull Time
Are you a restaurant, hospitality, healthcare dining, or food service leader looking for a better quality of life?

Bishop Gadsden, Charleston's premier senior living community, is seeking a Culinary Services Supervisor to lead dining operations within our Healthcare and Memory Care neighborhoods. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching teams, delivering exceptional dining experiences, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Unlike traditional restaurants, our dining operations offer predictable schedules and earlier finishing times, allowing you to enjoy evenings with family and friends instead of closing a restaurant late at night.

Benefits of joining our team include:

    • More balanced schedules than traditional restaurant environments
    • Earlier dining service hours with no late-night closes
    • Stable, year-round operation
    • Leadership opportunity in a respected senior living community
    • Collaborative and supportive work culture
    • Meaningful relationships with residents and team members
    • Professional growth and development opportunities

As Culinary Services Supervisor, you'll oversee daily dining operations and team performance while ensuring residents receive exceptional service and meals that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

    A Typical Day:

    • Supervise daily culinary and dining operations in Healthcare and Memory Care
    • Lead, coach, and develop dining services team members
    • Create and manage staff schedules
    • Ensure excellent resident dining experiences during every meal service
    • Oversee meal delivery accuracy in dining rooms and resident rooms
    • Train employees on service standards, procedures, and safety protocols
    • Maintain compliance with DHEC, Medicare, and facility regulations
    • Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments
    • Assist with departmental budgeting and operational planning
    • Communicate effectively with department leadership and staff
    • Support departmental events, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
