5. Reach out and conduct email/ phone interviews with BITSian achievers and other dignitaries

Role Responsibilities

1. Work closely with Information scouts to convert the cataloged information/ raw data into news articles in a timely manner

2. Post the written news at bitsaa.org

3. Proof read news articles written by other writers

4. Write articles, review and organize the content for the Chairman’s Quarterly Message

5. Write articles, review and organize the content for the Annual Report

Expected Skill Sets

1. Excellent written communication and verbal skills

2. Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel

3. Past Experience with English Press Club/ English Language Club/ Other Media Experience is a PLUS

4. Experience with Wordpress is a PLUS

1. Review all news articles for inclusion in the Monthly Newsletter

2. Plan the article placements and the layout of the Newsletter

3. Assist/ work with creative designer to generate/ improve Newsletter templates

4. Assist other teams in laying out their initiative specific Newsletter

5. Plan and maintain all outgoing newsletter communication calendar

6. Disseminate the Newsletter to BITSAA Universe

3. A solid understanding of ethical search engine optimization techniques

4. Demonstrated experience and a passion for the social technology universe
