Role Responsibilities
1. Invite BITSians to write articles, short stories, poetry, trivia, cartoons, comic strips etc.
2. Set deadline for submissions
3. Write news articles on a few Outstanding
BITSians
4. Conduct and feature interviews of Key
BITSians
5. Feature the signature BITSAA Initiative as a Cover Story
6. Assist/ work with the Creative Designer to generate/ improve the Sandpaper template
7. Review all content and plan the placement of the articles etc. and the ads in the
Sandpaper template
8. Assist/ work with the Creative Designer to layout the content for the Web Version and the PDF version of Sandpaper 2.0
9. Ensure the production of Sandpaper 2.0 every 6 months
Expected Skill Sets
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Ability to put a creative spin to reporting news items
3. Flair for the English language
4. Experience writing blogs is a PLUS
5. Experience with the Sandpaper/ Sizzling
Sands teams on campus is a PLUS
6. Experience with English and Hindi Press

We are looking to build (or integrate with an existing setup) a single stop for all job openings in the BITSAA Universe. Currently most of these things are limited to some jobs* yahoo and google groups and there is no single place to aggregate those, search for jobs (in BITSian and other companies) or post one. This is an attempt to solve that problem both for alumni as well as students on campus.
1. Development of the portal from a certain basic level OR using a third party framework.
2. Learn BITSAA frameworks and act as an interface between BITSAA and third party while integration
3. Maintenance of the portal once developed.

We are looking to build (or integrate with an existing setup) a single stop for all job openings in the BITSAA Universe.
Currently most of these things are limited to some jobs* yahoo and google groups and there is no single place to aggregate those, search for jobs (in BITSian and other companies) or post one. This is an attempt to solve that problem both for alumni as well as students on campus.
The role is to provide vision for this project, scope it out, work with the existing team
(and/or 3 rd party) and keep things on track.
It is an ideal product management position.

Position Name Architect - Platform Engineering
Role Responsibilities
This is a super secret project. All we can say is that there will be lots of “white-boarding”
and at the end of it, you will be responsible for something incredibly cool, that will help a lot of
BITSians.
It will be akin to a mini-startup with 2-3 passionate + smart people bouncing ideas in a room and building stuff.
P.S. There is a high chance of failure too – but it will be fun!

 Proficient with LinkedIn, Facebook,
Google Apps, Twitter APIs
 Familiarity with Single Sign-On
 Experience with OAuth / Open ID
 PHP, MySQL or anything else that comes out of technical discussions.

 Should have at least 2-3 years of Industry experience. (Or a stellar resume!)
