    Job description

Help Us Build the Future of the Human Heart.

At BiVACOR, we’re developing the world’s most advanced total artificial heart, a technology capable of saving millions of lives around the world. We’re a team united by purpose, working on something truly unprecedented. Every curriculum you build, every training module you launch, and every site team you equip plays a direct role in giving patients another shot at life. If that’s the kind of work that gets you out of bed in the morning, we think you belong here.

    About the Role

This is a high-impact, creative role at the intersection of clinical science and education, where your expertise will directly shape how investigational site teams around the world learn to support patients receiving the BiVACOR Total Artificial Heart. As Clinical Training & Education Specialist, you will own the full training lifecycle from curriculum design and LMS infrastructure through to compliance tracking and content refresh. You will bring instructional design expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for translating complex clinical and technical concepts into clear, effective learning experiences.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain clinical training curricula for investigational site staff globally

    • Build and manage content within the Learning Management System (LMS), including assessments and completion tracking

    • Develop and maintain the LMS backend infrastructure and support rollout of training modules

    • Schedule and coordinate training sessions across time zones for site initiation and ongoing education

    • Develop training materials including quick-reference guides and video content

    • Track site staff training compliance and escalate gaps to the Sr. Clinical Research Manager

    • Collaborate with Field Clinical Specialists and Biomedical Engineers to align training content with field protocols

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

    • 3–5+ years of experience in clinical education, instructional design, or training program management in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environment

    • Hands-on experience administering and building within an LMS platform (e.g. Docebo, Cornerstone, Veeva Vault Training, or similar)

    • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and video production for training content

    • Familiarity with ICH-GCP, FDA IDE regulations, and GCP training compliance requirements for investigational device studies

    • Prior exposure to mechanical circulatory support, cardiac surgery, or implantable device programs is an advantage

    • Can-do attitude — creative problem-solver — strong written communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

    • Comfortable coordinating across global time zones and supporting a rapidly scaling clinical program

    What We Offer

BiVACOR offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including:

    • 401(k) with company matching

    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
