Summary:
Cost Planning & Forecasting: Develop detailed cost models, project budgets, and cash flow forecasts from feasibility to final closeout
Variance & Performance Analysis: Track capital expenditures (CapEx), analyze cost variances against baselines, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership
Change & Risk Management: Oversee full change-order workflows, evaluate contractor pricing claims, and mitigate commercial risk
Key Responsibilities
Financial Costing and Analysis
- Review and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on project expenditures, cash flow, and financial performance against approved budgets.
- Lead contract administration activities including procurement, change orders, and claims management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential cost overruns and schedule delays.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to align financial objectives with project delivery goals.
- Implement and maintain best practices for cost management, control, and reporting processes.
- Prepare and present regular cost and financial reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data center or colocation infrastructure for a general contractor, colocation provider, or hyperscaler.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale data center construction projects as an individual contributor or technical lead.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
