    We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with our main location in Blaine. As we continue to grow and expand, Blaine Brothers Baldwin, WI has an opening for a technician (preferred 1-2 years experience) in our Diesel Truck and Trailer Shop. We are looking for someone detail oriented, with a strong mechanical aptitude, and strong work ethic. The job handles the complete repair and maintenance of semi-trailers and heavy-duty trucks.

    SCHEDULE:

    2nd shift (3pm-12am), Monday-Friday- 2nd Shift Pay Differential!

    WAGE RANGE: $25- $40/hr (varies based on skillset and experience)

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
    • Perform repair on diesel trucks

    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear

    • Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; make adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units

    • Inspect the overall condition of trucks to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements

    • Compile inspection reports detailing their findings

    • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements

    • Ensure the final work product meets quality standards

    • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-worke
