This is a permanent, full-time position working 4on 4off, covering the hours of 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00, rotating each week with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers £12.91 per hour, depending on skills and experience, plus an additional shift allowance of £3,900 annually

Main Purpose of the Role

To undertake warehouse duties, as trained, relating to the flow of stock through the distribution centre from receipt through to dispatch. The role is responsible for ensuring goods are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining company standards for quality, productivity, and health & safety.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, check, and store incoming stock.

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.

• Replenish stock locations as required.

• Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

• Carry out stock checks and inventory activities when required.

• Ensure all products are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage.

• Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with training and company procedures.

• Complete all tasks in line with operational targets and deadlines.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

• Identify and report hazards, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.

• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve operational objectives.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.

Profile:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Good understanding of warehouse operations and processes.

• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Reliable, flexible, and willing to work rotating shifts.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.

• Takes personal responsibility for work quality and safety.
