HSE Intern

HSE Intern is carrying out an internship within the Health, Safety and Environment area in BLM GROUP.
The project involves sampling chemicals from laser cutting in order to characterize the fumes that may develop during processing, taking into account the variables involved (gases used, materials, thicknesses, types of profiles, suction equipment used). The analyses will be carried out in accordance with the relevant technical standards.
The objective of the internship is to learn more about the characteristics of laser cutting fumes (chemicals present, particle size) and verify the effectiveness of the extraction equipment.

Activities and topics covered:

• Occupational safety regulations Legislative Decree 81/08 (chemical agents);
• Reference regulations on chemical agent sampling methods (dusts, fumes, metals);
• Chemical agents reference limits.

Note: The trainee will be expected to operate within the workplace with the utmost respect for the rules established to ensure Safety and Health, their own and others', and to ensure optimal functioning of the work environment.
