Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company is searching for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. Under manager supervision the Maintenance Technician I is responsible for a wide range of daily duties including inspection, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and systems and documentation of such tasks; all while maintaining safety, productivity and financial responsibility. Typically requires a high school diploma and one year electrical/automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule: 6:00am-4:30am
Pay: $23.00 hourly

- Ensures daily plant and equipment inspections are conducted and documented appropriately. - Assists in developing preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment, and ensures schedules are adhered to and documented. - Monitors equipment for unusual sounds to detect malfunction. - Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issues. - Assists in maintaining spare parts inventory. - Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts. - Provides technical information and operational guidance to production employees. - Follows safety rules & procedures including OSHA standards and the Company Process Safety Management program. - Performs and records periodic testing. - Maintains a clear sense of priority and focus in support of team performance. - Identifies improvements in the process’s equipment. - Assists leadership with problem resolution and correction of equipment deficiencies. - Constantly considers long term upgrades / repairs. - Additional tasks as assigned.Job details are sourced from the employer's original posting.
