We are currently hiring a skilled Underground Foreman to support all phases of utility construction for a variety of OSP telecommunications projects. This role requires hands-on experience in underground utility construction. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building, repairing, and maintaining utility construction projects
- Work in outdoor environments, including trenches and underground sites
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the field
- Train crew members on the safe and effective use of tools and equipment
- Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, dozers, cable plows, trenchers, air compressors, hydraulic reel trailers, and other construction equipment
- Ensure proper setup and execution of all phases of job-site activity
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and project specifications
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience in underground utility and OSP telecommunications construction
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment and field operations
- Ability to lead and supervise field crews
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and job-site conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL preferred
