BluLever is looking for an energetic and relationship-driven Student Recruitment Associate. This role is perfect for someone with experience in recruitment, sales, customer engagement, community outreach or youth development who can build rapport with prospective students and guide them towards completing their applications.

BluLever achieves this through holistic vocational education and skills training that creates ethical industry professionals of a global standard. BluLever’s Braamfontein Campus, focused on plumbing apprenticeships, launched in early 2021.

BluLever Education is preparing Africa for the 4th industrial revolution by mobilising a movement of 5 million artisans as active citizens. We currently offer plumbing apprenticeships for 5 cohorts of 30 students per year, as well as various other artisan training products such as the MakersHub - an incubation hub that supports small businesses in their journey to growth, formalisation and stability. ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Student Recruitment Associate, you will manage BluLever’s early-stage student recruitment pipeline across relevant trades and intakes. You will contact and qualify leads, build relationships with prospective students and support suitable candidates in completing their applications and submitting the required documents. You will engage candidates through telephone calls, WhatsApp and email, coordinate their participation in tours and recruitment events and represent BluLever at schools, youth organisations, career expos and community activities. You will also maintain accurate candidate records, complete recruitment trackers and work closely with the Student Recruitment Manager and Marketing team to improve lead quality, conversion and the candidate experience.

WHAT YOU NEED
For this role, you will need to have approximately two to four years of relevant work experience. Experience in recruitment, sales, customer service, admissions, education, community outreach or youth development will be beneficial. You will need a strong ability to build rapport with young people and their guardians, communicate clearly and follow up consistently. Strong organisation, accurate record-keeping and confidence using telephone calls, WhatsApp and email are important for this role. A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport may be required for outreach activities.
