Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager (K Level) in North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Industrial Engineering.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Completed bachelor's degree
• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
• 3+ years of working in an engineering organization in a manufacturing environment

​Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• 5+ years of working as an industrial engineering, or similar, in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience leading a team to accomplish project and departmental goals
• 3+ years of experience leading teammates in a formal and/or informal role

Summary Pay Range: $122,400 - $165,600
