YOUR ROLE
As a Full Stack Developer on our team, you will design, build, and maintain internal applications, developer portals, automated workflows, and APIs that empower our engineering and cross-functional teams across the organization. You will streamline internal workflows, build user-friendly interfaces and services for provisioning ephemeral testing environments within CI/CD pipelines, construct efficient data integration pipelines, and collaborate with peers to continuously improve tooling so teams can build and ship faster.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications, internal developer portals, and microservices that automate manual processes across engineering and business teams.
- Build self-service web interfaces, CLI tools, and automated backend services to provision ephemeral environments, triggers, and pipelines within our CI/CD systems.
- Develop robust automated data pipelines to move, transform, and integrate data across internal systems and third-party services.
- Craft intuitive, responsive user interfaces and dashboards that give internal stakeholders real-time visibility into workflow automation, deployment status, and platform metrics.
- Apply security best practices, identity/auth controls, unit/integration testing, and compliance guardrails across full-stack applications and data workflows.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing across applications and automated services to ensure high availability, performance, and clear incident visibility.
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to gather requirements, iterate on feedback, and deliver high-impact developer experiences.

YOUR LOCATION
This is a fully remote role, with the exception of onboarding and optional in-office events.
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong backend development skills (Python or Ruby preferred), with experience building RESTful APIs and microservices in cloud-native environments.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, MongoDB, Redis).
- Frontend development experience building interactive web applications and dashboards using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and deploying/debugging full-stack applications in cloud environments (particularly AWS).
- Experience consuming, configuring, or extending CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) to automate build, test, and release processes.
- Good understanding of software architecture, data modeling, automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), and security/authentication standards (OAuth2, OIDC).
Nice to Haves:
- Experience developing internal developer tools, CLI utilities, or self-service developer portals (e.g., Backstage)
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Next.js)
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines and ETL processes (e.g., Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Snowflake)
- Familiarity with basic Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform, AWS CDK) and monitoring/observability platforms (DataDog, Grafana)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day), at a desk working on a computer.
- Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
