- Process customer transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while maintaining efficient workflow
- Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and assistance to customers at the counter
- Handle card payments, and other payment methods with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain organized inventory displays and assist with stock management as needed
- Answer customer inquiries professionally and resolve concerns with a customer-focused approach
- Build positive customer relationships through friendly and courteous interactions
- Support the sales team by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant products
- Ensure the counter area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
- Follow company policies and procedures consistently
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues when needed
- Proven customer service experience in a retail or counter sales environment
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- Strong mathematical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment
