PC Support Technician
Summary:
This position reports to the Manager of PC Support and is responsible for building, imaging and helping with second level technical support for installed company computer systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build Windows desktop and laptop PCs using the Microsoft SCCM imaging process. (PXE. Standalone, etc.).
- Once the image has been completed the technician then completes the build process following a build sheet for the Department requesting the PC.
- Will have the opportunity to participate in troubleshooting problems with PCs and printers in the lab or via telephone.
- Assist in recovery and processing of PCs upon lease terminations.
- This position does require some moderate lifting up to 35 lbs.
Experience/Skills/Education:
- Solid knowledge of PC operation in a Windows Microsoft Environment.
- Technical school experience or on the job experience very desirable.
- Knowledge of SCCM or some other automated imaging software.
- Intune and Jamf are a plus.
- Good communication Skills verbal and written.
- Able to work with little supervision and follow written instructions.
- Willing to take ownership of the work that he/she has done.
- Detailed oriented making sure that all steps in the provided documentation has been address while imaging or completing the build.
