Position Responsibilities/職務内容

• Research and monitor business and investment issues, including government policies, regulatory developments, industry developments, consumer trends and issues, and business and investment opportunities on behalf of BGA and clients.
  BGAとそのクライアントに関わりの深い政府の政策や規制の状況•展開、産業活動の状況、消費の動向と課題、今後の事業活動の機会などにつき、調査•モニタリングを実施する。
  

• Analyze and interpret the corporate, business, policy and political implications of specific government regulations, policies and laws at the national and provincial levels.
  国・地方双方のレベルにおいて、政策・法規制等の政治・経済全般ならびに企業活動等への影響を調査・分析する。

• Provide succinct, well-written, actionable reports to clients and to BGA leaders in both Japanese and English. 
  クライアントならびにBGAリーダーに対して、日本語と英語の両方で、クオリティが高く、簡潔で実用的な調査報告を提出する。

• Build networks and relationships with bureaucrats and public officials, the business community, civil society  organizations and consumer groups. 
  内外の官民関係者との良好な関係構築を通じ、BGAの戦略的・効率的発展に貢献する。

• Provide information and analysis on stakeholders relevant to BGA clients.
  BGAクライアントに関連の深いステークホルダーの情報、並びに分析を提供する。

• Offer guidance and assistance in developing and implementing business, government relations, media, public affairs and other strategies.
  ビジネス、政府関連渉外業務、メディア対策、PR等に関するアドバイスと支援を提供する。
  

• Manage and assist with the operations and event logistics organized by BGA for stakeholders.
  BGAの各種会合、プロジェクトの実施・運営に貢献する。

• Provide other support as requested.

Job Requirements/募集要件

We seek an exceptionally collegial, eager, highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively and be part of a high-performing team. Relevant qualifications include:

• Approximately 5 years' experience or more working with the private or public sector. 
  最低5年程度の就労経験を有すること。

• Business level English and native level Japanese with excellent written and oral communications skills in both languages.
  ビジネスレベルの英語とネイティブレベルの日本語能力(オーラルコミュニケーション、ならびに文書作成能力)を有すること。

• Excellent research and analysis skills and knowledge of relevant business sectors such as healthcare, ICT, finance, natural resources, manufacturing and others.
  ヘルスケア、ICT、金融、天然資源、製造などのビジネスセクターに関する優れた調査・分析能力を有していること。

• A keen understanding of Japan’s political-economic environment and the ability to navigate it on behalf of clients. 
  日本の政治経済状況に対する鋭い理解を有していること。

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic internet applications are required, as is ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
  新しいテクノロジーを学び、活用できる能力、ならびにMS Officeと一般的なインターネットアプリケーションに習熟していること。

• University degree and relevant professional experience are required. 
  学士号以上の取得とともに、BGAの業務に関連の深い職務経験を有すること。
