Gonzales Impact School is a K-12 school that serves students who reside at the Legacy Ranch foster facility. No matter how long they’re with us, every day counts with these students. We are looking for a student-centered Teacher to lead in the spirit of our mission to increase the capacity for learning by inspiring every student to belong, find joy, and be great. Our learning environment engages students in the construction of understanding through asking questions, exploring, researching, and reflecting. We focus on helping students develop coping skills, self-advocacy, and confidence while supporting their academic growth.

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Willing to obtain or actively in the process of obtaining a valid Texas Teacher certification
• Open to new ideas in teaching methods
• Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong instructional technology skills
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must have satisfactory outcome of the fingerprinting check before starting employment. Non-refundable fee paid by the employee.
