    Position: Service Coordinator (SC) – Willow Way Village (WWV)

    Employment Status: Full-Time (FT)

    Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Chief Technology Officer (CTO), in collaboration with the Property Manager of Royal American

    Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Status: Non-Exempt

    Position Summary

    Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and highly organized applicant to join our team as a Service Coordinator (SC) supporting the residents of Willow Way Village (WWV).

    The Service Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between residents, property management, and community service providers. The SC assists residents in accessing healthcare, behavioral health services, employment resources, education, financial assistance, transportation, and other supportive services that promote housing stability, independence, and improved quality of life. The Service Coordinator does not provide direct clinical treatment but facilitates referrals, advocacy, and care coordination.

    This position reports to BCI's Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and works closely on a day-to-day basis with the Property Manager of Royal American Management to support the needs of WWV residents and maintain housing stability throughout the community.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Public Health, or a related field preferred.

    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with low-income individuals, families, older adults, persons experiencing homelessness, or individuals with disabilities.

    • Experience in case management, care coordination, or community resource navigation preferred.

    • Bilingual/Bicultural (English/Spanish) preferred (not required).

    Pre-Employment Requirements

    Employment is contingent upon successfully completing all required screenings and background checks, including:

    • Applicants must be able to pass an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Medicaid and Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level II background check (Clearinghouse Education and Awareness Website: https://info.flclearinghouse.com)

    • National Sex Offender Registry search

    • Office of Inspector General (OIG) check (if you have previously worked for DCF (including Contract or Subcontract Provider)

    • Drug screen

    • Tuberculosis (TB) test

    • Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and possess a valid Florida Driver's License with no more than three (3) points on their driving record to be insured under BCI's automobile insurance policy.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    • Knowledge of affordable housing programs, community resources, and public assistance programs.

    • Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care principles.

    • Motivational interviewing and cultural competency.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with property management and community partners.

    • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems.

    Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

    • Ability to travel throughout Willow Way Village and to community agencies as needed.

    • Ability to lift to 20 pounds occasionally, and to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

    • Office and residential housing environment, with occasional evening or weekend activities.

    Work Schedule & Location

    Work Schedule: Full-Time (FT)

    Work Location: On-site at Willow Way Village (WWV), Fort Walton Beach, FL

    Wage: $25.00 per hour
